Well looks like this window will be a quiet one.
I think we still need a strong RB and a 15+ goal striker.
What do you guys think? Will we make any signings?

I think its more about getting rid of the dross that Zenga brought in.
What worries me is that our owners are meant to be worth more than Villas and West b#%m but Villa especially seem to target 4 million type players.
We always linked to 500k, 1.5 mil. If we are to get out of this league- we unfortunatly nees to spend properly like when they first took over 7 mil etc etc. Clearly with the right players. Zenga was Fosuns mistake.

Cost of players isn't everything would you be happy spending 14m on McCormack and only scoring 3 goals? Cavaliero seems decent but not a 7m player yet. We don't need to spend loads now the wage bill needs to be reduced which takes time. Deadwood out before the proper buying starts in the summer PL knows what he wants.

zenga had no input on transfers fosun were led up the garden path by trusting jorge mendes on all incoming transfers he's the one to blame for this mess, and lambert his doing a great job sorting it out

I think you didn't read with the right players. there's a reason a player is 500k or 4 million in general.
Of course the odd time aomeone like Vardy appears who
coat peanuts. My point is we need quality.

Paulwolfpa. harsh to blame Zenga on summer signings.
If you need someone to blame, I think your man is Thelwell, he ether sanctioned the signings or rolled over when they were suggested.
Thank goodness it is now Lambert controlling the 1st Team Squad policy.

It's definitely not all about price, Look how big money signings have disappointed at Wolves. O'Hara, Johnson, etc.

It is all about shrewd well-researched signings, and also making the best of what we have and the Wolves youngsters coming through. In these respects Lambert will serve us well, especially after he has slashed squad numbers to allow others to flourish.
