WM reporting Pearson already interviewed. Too volatile for my liking? .

Also he just isn't good enough! So what he saved Leicester after a great escape. If he was that good there would have been no need for an escape! Phil Neville for me.

So let me get this right. You'd prefer someone with no experience over someone who has a promotion from this league. Pearson may be volatile but he has the experience of this league.

Pearson is clear favourite with the bookies this morning. If it's Pearson for the job, I won't like it, but maybe it's what we need.

Someone said Doughie Freedman has the job but this just looks like guesswork now.

Does anybody actually know anything or are we just following the bookies' odds?

Pearson wouldn't be my 1st choice but certainly better than 50% of the names that have been banded around.
Would prefer Big Sam.
Wouldnt say Pearsons a bad choice but will do a job for now.

Not good enough!? He had an amazing season with Leicester, won the league in his second season (by a landslide! ) And got them to play offs in his first season of his second spell, a no brainer for me!

I thought Freedman had got the job anyway lol.

So you'd much rather an unproven manager. Why not stick with Edwards then?

I wouldn't read too much into Pearson being interviewed. I imagine there will be others as well.

Also, regarding Phil Neville, I can't see anything in his track record that makes me agree with you. I would be interested in your reasons for this suggestion.

Its pretty obvious that Pearson Freedman and Ince have applied for the job and Wilmots has been recommended by Mendes doesn't mean any of them will get the job. Looks like Thelwell been given the task to recruit Walters replacement it will either make or break him! I would like to throw a name out, has a very good managerial record including English clubs, plays decent football and is available, Martin Jol, at least give him an interview Kev.

Paul Lambert is supposed to be in the frame. I would be against him, he had a good record before going to villa and Blackburn and it was more the way the clubs were run at the time. Could redeem himself at wolves maybe.

Well if names are being thrown in I would offer up Jean Tigana. Got Fulham promoted from this division and established in the prem playing great football.

Mendes wants Wilmots, Silva, Perreira or Zola and Shi wants a British man like Big Sam or Pearson who would upset the applecart. He basically has to be careful not to risk losing all of the players Mendes is currently bringing in, so Mendes wins, for now.

No he doesn't win as Thelwell has been put in charge of finding a manage.
What players would we lose worth worrying about? Costa is about the only one.

What about Nigel Adkins look at what he did with Southampton?

Martin Jol?
Nigel Adkins?
Good shouts.
Forget Freedman, Ince and Co.
No foreigners either unless they are prepared to move home here.

Big Sam says he won't take a club until next year what a shame 😔.

Ian Holloway has the best track record in championship. surely he's worth an approach. regardless of what went on with KJ.

Id rather Tony Mowbray.
